Glenn Rogers is a cattle rancher, former veterinarian, and former professor. Currently, Glenn is actively involved in his family’s ranching operation in Palo Pinto County, Texas, where he manages a beef heifer development business and cow/calf operation. He practiced as a veterinarian for eleven years in the West Cross Timbers area of Texas where he owned and operated two rural, mixed practices. In 1991, Glenn made the decision to leave his veterinary practice to pursue post-graduate training in Beef Production Medicine at Kansas State University and received a Master’s in Beef Production Medicine. He went on to teach at North Carolina State University. Glenn also holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University and a D.V.M. from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.
A product of rural Texas, Glenn Rogers grew up around his family’s ranching operations, which have existed in Palo Pinto County since the 1890s.
