David Cook is the managing partner of Harris Cook LLP, a Family and Business Law firm located in Mansfield, Texas. David specializes in cases that involve Complex Division of Assets or Contested Child Custody matters. David is also the Mayor of Mansfield, a position he has held since 2008. David holds a B.A. in Public Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a JD from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, which is now known as Texas A&M University School of Law.
Currently, David is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Texas Family Law Foundation, and the U.S. District Court Northern District of Texas. As a community volunteer, David has worked to help in-need families, improve education, and provide recreational sports to Texas youth. He has been active in Mansfield Churches For the City, the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Mansfield Independent School District (ISD) Strategic Planning Committee.
